Don't wash your hair on a daily basis

For example: If you have oily hair (which I do), then washing every day could actually be detrimental because it strips away natural oils from the follicles that are needed for proper moisture balance in each strand of hair. In addition to being an unnecessary waste of time and money, daily shampooing will also add stress on your body since our skin is one big organ which needs care just like any other part of our body does!
The best advice I can give is start off slow when trying out new shampoos; try not rinsing out conditioner before drying off with towels instead; go only once per week during summer months when temperatures tend toward high heat levels; etc
